Choose equipment that fits
We help size FortiGate firewalls and select switching, access points and licensing around your users, applications, internet connections and growth plans. Fortinet equipment and subscriptions can be quoted alongside deployment services.
Plan the cutover
A migration scope can include configuration review, policy and VPN mapping, backups, a maintenance window, testing and rollback steps. Downtime requirements and dependencies are agreed before implementation; uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.
Firmware upgrades and ongoing care
For supported existing equipment, discuss firmware compatibility, upgrade paths, configuration backups and post-change checks. Continue with ongoing support if you need help maintaining the environment after the upgrade.
What to expect from an upgrade or migration
A hardware replacement, firmware change and migration from another vendor have different dependencies. We agree on the plan and acceptance checks before implementation.

Do I need new hardware or a firmware upgrade?
We first review the current model, firmware, support lifecycle, symptoms and capacity needs. A configuration change or supported firmware update may address the issue; replacement is considered when the existing platform no longer fits the requirements.
Will there be downtime?
A reboot, recabling or firewall cutover can interrupt connectivity. We identify affected applications, agree on a maintenance window and define when to pause or roll back. The expected interruption is estimated after reviewing the environment; zero downtime is not assumed.
Can you migrate a firewall from another vendor?
We can assess a migration to FortiGate, including the networks, policies, VPNs and dependencies that need to be mapped and tested. Conversion tooling may help, but it does not replace validation. Any FortiConverter or other third-party fees are identified in the quote.
Can the work be done remotely?
Remote engineering is available nationwide when access and on-site assistance are suitable for the job. Hardware installation, cabling and recovery access may require someone at the site. Kamanel on-site projects are available across South Florida, with location and scheduling confirmed in the proposal.
How do you prepare and validate the change?
The agreed work can include configuration backups, review of the supported upgrade path and compatibility, release notes, a rollback plan and pre-change checks. Post-change tests are selected for your environment, such as internet access, VPNs, business applications, WiFi, segmentation and failover.
What is included in the project price and handover?
The written scope identifies equipment and licensing, preparation, implementation, validation, handover documentation and any post-change support period. Supplier charges, on-site work and ongoing maintenance are itemized where applicable. We agree on completion criteria and remaining actions with you.
