What is the difference between FortiCare and FortiGuard?
FortiCare provides manufacturer support according to the purchased support level. FortiGuard provides security subscriptions such as threat protection and filtering. Some FortiGuard bundles include FortiCare support. We check the services included in your proposed SKU so you can compare the coverage.
What do you need for a renewal quote?
Start with your Fortinet model, number of devices, subscriptions, expiration date if known, and preferred term. We arrange follow-up for serial numbers or entitlement details when needed to confirm the exact contract. Keep account credentials and configuration backups out of the public form.
Can you align renewals for multiple devices?
We can request co-termination options where available, so eligible services share an end date. The quote confirms which devices and services qualify, their coverage dates and price.
What if my subscription has already expired?
Ask for a coverage review before ordering. Expiration can affect subscribed security services and vendor support; the impact and renewal conditions depend on the product and contract. We confirm eligibility, effective dates and any applicable reinstatement or backdating terms with the supplier.
Should I renew or replace the firewall?
We compare the existing model’s support lifecycle and capacity with your current requirements, then review renewal cost against replacement and migration scope. Replacement may make sense when the device is approaching end of support or no longer fits the network. TradeUp eligibility is checked separately.
Does a renewal include configuration or ongoing support?
A license renewal covers the services listed in that contract. Kamanel configuration work, firmware planning, migration and ongoing engineering are quoted separately unless included in the proposal. Manufacturer support and Kamanel service availability are different commitments.
