Kamanel Consulting LLC deployed an integrated network, surveillance, and audio solution for Florentin Bakery in Aventura, Florida. The installation combines Fortinet network security and wireless infrastructure with Ubiquiti video surveillance and Sonos audio. The project brought these systems together within an organized network, with security configuration supporting PCI DSS requirements.
Client Challenge
Florentin Bakery needed dependable connectivity and a technology foundation supporting its daily operations, security cameras, and audio system. The installation also needed to address network resilience and security requirements associated with a payment-processing environment.
Fortinet Network Infrastructure
Two FortiGate 70G firewalls were configured in high availability to provide firewall redundancy and reduce reliance on a single appliance. Two FortiSwitch 124F-POE switches provide wired connectivity and PoE capacity for connected devices. The rack installation brings the network equipment and cabling together in an accessible, organized layout.
Wireless Deployment
Four FortiAP 231K access points were installed to provide wireless connectivity throughout the bakery. The access points form part of the Fortinet network infrastructure, supporting consistent administration of wired and wireless connectivity.
Network Security & PCI DSS Support
The network was configured and secured with controls supporting PCI DSS requirements. Network security configuration helps protect the environment used for business operations and payment processing.
Ubiquiti Video Surveillance
Ubiquiti cameras and a dedicated Ubiquiti NVR provide video surveillance and centralized recording. The camera system was integrated with the network infrastructure to support monitoring and footage review.
Sonos Audio Integration
A Sonos audio system was integrated into the installation to support the bakery’s atmosphere and customer experience. Network connectivity accommodates the audio system alongside the other deployed technology.
